  • 1 cup Sweet Chili Sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce For added umami flavor.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated or minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil For coating wings before baking.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, toss the wings with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • Add sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the bowl. Mix well.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the wings in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
  • For frying, heat oil to 375°F (190°C) and fry wings for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.

Finishing Touches

  • Toss the cooked wings back in the bowl with the remaining sauce.
  • Serve on a platter and garnish with sesame seeds, chopped green onions, and red pepper flakes.

Notes
