Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
  • In a large bowl, stir together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and oil until smooth.
  • Add self-rising flour and vanilla extract, stirring gently until combined; batter may be slightly lumpy.
  • Fold in chopped pecans, ensuring even distribution.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
