  • Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until sweet potatoes are tender.

Combining Flavors

  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in salsa, salt, and black pepper.
  • Blend the soup for a creamy texture if desired, then return it to the saucepan.
  • Stir in lime juice, taste, and adjust seasonings as needed.
