cooked sweet potato
tightly packed
1

almond milk
or milk of choice
2-3
Medjool dates
pitted
1/2

knob of fresh ginger
or 1/4 teaspoon dried ginger
1/4
tsp
ground turmeric
1/4
tsp
ground cinnamon
1
Tbsp
hemp hearts
optional; for added protein
Ice
as needed to thicken
Instructions
Gather all your ingredients for a smooth blending experience.
In your blender, combine cooked sweet potato, almond milk, 2 Medjool dates, fresh ginger, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, and hemp hearts (if using).
Blend the ingredients until very smooth. Taste and add an additional date if you prefer more sweetness. Blend again.
Add a generous handful of ice cubes and blend until the ice is completely broken down and incorporated.
Once blended to your desired consistency, pour the smoothie into your favorite glass and enjoy!
