Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast cooked and diced
  • 0.25 cup Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika optional
  • 0.25 cup Breadcrumbs optional, for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour to create a roux and cook for about a minute.
  • Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring until thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  • Add the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, diced chicken, honey, cracked black pepper, salt, and paprika (if using).
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs if desired.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let sit for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
