  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Optional
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced Optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Cooking the Chicken

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add diced chicken breasts to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing until aromatic, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour in chicken broth, stirring well and scraping any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Lower the heat, then stir in heavy cream and soy sauce. Mix until combined and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Optionally, add broccoli florets and sliced bell peppers into the sauce. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.

Finishing Touches

  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat it in the creamy sauce. Cook for 2 more minutes to heat through.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

For varied flavors, consider adding red pepper flakes or using half and half instead of heavy cream. Adjust vegetables based on preference.
