  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup butter Melted

  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar For frosting

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, whisked eggs, and oil. Mix well.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in cocoa powder until smooth.
  • Add cocoa mixture to the cookie dough, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add milk, stirring until you achieve a smooth and thick dough.
  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft.
  • Prepare the frosting while cookies are baking by mixing powdered sugar, remaining cocoa powder, and milk.
  • Frost warm cookies with the chocolate frosting.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
