Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the sugar cookie mix package.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar cookie mix with the specified amount of butter and egg (if using). Mix until the dough comes together smoothly.
  • Generously grease a mini muffin pan with cooking spray, butter, or shortening.
  • Take small amounts of dough and lightly press them into the muffin cups, ensuring not to overfill them.

Baking

  • Place the muffin pan in the preheated oven and bake according to the time suggested on the cookie mix package, checking a few minutes early to avoid overbaking.
  • Once done, let the pan cool for about 10 minutes before removing the cookie cups.

Decoration

  • After cooling, gently remove the cookie cups from the muffin pan and decorate with your chosen frosting.
  • Add toppings like sprinkles or candies as desired.
