Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Must be at room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour Spoon and level for accuracy
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Chocolate Chips

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving enough space between each scoop.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. To store, place in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
