Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Tuna 5 oz each, drained
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese or Swiss
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Butter for cooking

Instructions
 

  • Drain the tuna thoroughly and place it in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
  • Fold in the shredded cheese and chopped green onions gently.
  • Form the mixture into 4-5 equal-sized patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet.
  • Cook each patty for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the patties to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve warm on toasted bread or alongside a salad.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat.
