Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cans tuna drained
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Pepper to taste
  • 250 grams short pasta your choice
  • Pasta water about two ladles
  • Chili peppers (optional)
  • Parmigiano cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, adding butter and olive oil until shimmering.
  • Drain the tuna and add it to the skillet, breaking it into smaller pieces until it turns golden.
  • Season the tuna with pepper and stir for about a minute.
  • While the tuna cooks, boil salted water in a pot and add your choice of short pasta, cooking until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta, reserving about two ladles of starchy pasta water.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with tuna, gradually mixing in the reserved pasta water until creamy.
  • Remove from heat and top with chili oil or Parmigiano cheese before serving.
