  • 1 cup 1 cup of unsweetened plant milk Your choice of plant milk
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup of frozen strawberries For a tart flavor
  • 1 large 1 large frozen banana Provides creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste

For Garnish

  • 1 sprig Sprig of mint Optional, for garnish
  • 2-3 pieces 2-3 watermelon balls Optional, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of chia seeds Optional, for added nutrition
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon of coconut flakes Optional, for texture
  • 1/2 banana 1/2 a banana, finely sliced Optional, for extra fruit
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 a cup of berries of choice Optional, for variety

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by cutting the watermelon in half. Use a melon baller to scoop out the flesh and create small, round balls. Freeze the watermelon balls until solid.
  • Save the empty watermelon skin for use as your serving bowl.

Blending

  • In a blender, combine the frozen watermelon balls, frozen banana, plant milk, maple syrup, and frozen strawberries. Blend until smooth.
  • Adjust the liquid as needed based on your preferred smoothie thickness.

Assembly

  • Take the empty watermelon skin from the fridge, trim the bottom slightly for stability, and pour the smoothie mixture into it.
  • Add your desired toppings like sliced banana, berries, mint, chia seeds, and coconut flakes.

Serving

  • Enjoy the Watermelon Smoothie Bowl with a spoon and savor each delightful bite.
