  • 1/2 cup milk or cream Substitute with half and half or heavy cream for richer flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder To taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference.
  • Optional: chopped cilantro or jalapeños for garnish Add for extra flavor and freshness.

Preparation

  • Start by cutting the white cheese into small cubes.
  • Place the cheese cubes into a crockpot.
  • Pour in the diced green chilies evenly over the cheese.
  • Add the milk or cream according to your desired consistency.
  • Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and stir until well combined.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for about 2 to 3 hours.
  • Stir occasionally to help the cheese melt evenly and avoid sticking.

Serving

  • Once creamy and smooth, serve the dip garnished with cilantro or jalapeños if desired.
  • Pair with tortilla chips, fresh veggies, pretzels, or bread.

Notes
