Cookie Base

  • 1 box yellow cake mix Use any brand of yellow cake mix.
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs Let them come to room temperature before mixing.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sprinkles Use rainbow sprinkles or any themed sprinkles.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix well until the batter is smooth.
  • Add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until fully incorporated.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract and fold in the colorful sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers are slightly soft.
  • Remove from the oven and let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
