  • 2 cups yogurt (plain or flavored) Greek yogurt for a thicker texture; regular yogurt for a lighter feel.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Use to sweeten to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for flavor enhancement.
  • 1 cup mixed berries Include strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.
  • 1/2 cup granola or nuts Optional for crunch.
  • to taste mint leaves for garnish Optional for decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
  • Prepare the berries by washing them under cold water. If using strawberries, hull and slice them.

Assembly

  • In serving glasses or bowls, start layering the yogurt mixture. Spoon some yogurt into the bottom first.
  • Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the yogurt.
  • If you like a bit of crunch, sprinkle a layer of granola or nuts over the berries.
  • Continue layering until you reach the top of the glass, finishing with a layer of yogurt.
  • Garnish with additional berries and mint leaves for a beautiful presentation.
  • Serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours if you prefer it cold.
